Hi there. Thanks for stopping by. Before you have a look at my work I’ll tell you a bit about myself.

I’m short.
I hate Brussels sprouts.
I make neat stuff.

There, that’s all you really need to know. Now go ahead and check out my work.

(If you’re really that keen on knowing more stuff about me you can read on.)

I’ve been a bit of a juggler most of my working life. For the 11 years that I earned a living as a professional actor, travelling across North America, I also did some sound and set-painting work for theatre as well as pursuing my interest in visual and graphic art.

In 1995 I established ArtWare Studio. Two years later I exited stage left from theatre. There was about one full year where I only had to toss one ball in the air, ArtWare, but I missed juggling, so in 1998 when I was offered a job at Salter Street Films (now PowerPost Productions) as the Foley Artist I couldn’t resist. For seven years I divided my time between the sound studio in Halifax and my art studio in Diligent River.

In February of 2006 my partner Michael Fuller and I opened Barking Dog Studio,
a sound studio in Parrsboro, so now I continue my Foley work closer to home. Michael (who also operates a paragliding school) and I travel whenever possible, Portugal being one of our favourite spots to explore.

Another love of my life is dogs - Border Collies specifically. At the moment we have two, Fica and Izzy.

Michael and I also have some fun playing with a couple of bands. He plays sax and I play trombone for the Parrsboro Citizens’ Band and The Elastic Big Band. And then there are all the top secret projects that I’m involved in but I can’t go into details as that could jeopardize the whole shootin’ match. So ...that’s that. I have a busy life... and I couldn’t be happier.
